Meet Fern, a unique blue mackerel tabby Domestic Shorthair kitten born March 21st!
Fern was born in a litter of 5 to a stray cat & brought to our rescue when all were about 9 weeks old. We named them after the characters of the book Charlotte's Web (because the littlest kitten looked ratty ~ thus she was named Templeton!)
Tempe was surrendered to H.A.L.O. due to medical problems, brothers Avery & Wilbur passed on due to coccidia & panleukopenia, & her last sister Charlotte was just adopted. Little Fern is now looking for her furever family!
Fern was the littlest of the shorthairs when we got her. Despite that, she has been the spunkiest of the litter!
The $80 adoption fee will cover her spay, rabies vaccine, & microchip at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast after adoption.
